Abstract

Freshly extracted seventy-two mature single - rooted human permanent teeth were collected teeth were carefully cleaned to remove any adhering hard or soft tissue remnants, using an ultrasonic scaler teeth were decapitated at the level of the cementoenamel junction root canals were instrumented using the crown-down technique, using a series of NiTi rotary instruments of ProTaper system up to master apical file F3 then canal apical size was refined with size #35 / 0.04 K3 file obturation of all root canals was done using the cold lateral compaction technique samples were divided into two major and equal groups of thirty six samples each based on the obturation material used In group I, canals were obturated with real seal SE while in group II, canals were obturated with EndoRez system each group was subdivided into three equal subgroups twelve samples each, according to the type of the second irrigation subgroup A (canal preparation and irrigation with NAOCL (5.25% followed by EDTA 17%, final flush with sterile water), MTAD (canal preparation and irrigation with naocL (1.3%) followed by MTAD find Flush with sterile water) in subgroup B, Chlorhexidine (CHX) 2% (Canal preparation and irrigation with chlorhexidine (chx)2%,final flush with sterile water) in subgroup C
