Abstract Background: left main coronary stenosis {u2265}50% has been considered a high risk of mortality among patients undergowing coronary artery bypass graft(CABG) specially off-pump CABG. Results: There was no statistically significant difference as regards the age, sex, medical history of importance, preoperative echocardiographic findings and preoperative coronary angiography ,Regarding intraoperative comparison, there was no statistically significant difference in the total operation time, number of grafts performed per patients, or any intraoperative events, The total ICU mechanical ventilation, ICU and hospital stay didn{u2019}t show any significant difference statistically between both groups, postoperative complications including death did not show either any significant difference between the LMCA group and non LMCA group. Conclusion: Left main coronary lesions don{u2019}t carry any additional risks for modern off-pump CABG anymore |
