The study aimed to monitor journalistic writing methods in paper and electronic newspapers in the light of the variables imposed by the new digital environment paper and electronic editing methods, and the study’s objectives were to reveal the impact of communication technology on the writing of topics in Egyptian newspapers The study used newsroom culture and gatekeeper theory, belonging to the field of prescription research and using the media survey curriculum. and represents the society and sample of the analytical study in the press materials published in paper newspapers, portals and websites of the study sample newspapers, namely pyramids, news, homeland, seventh day and delegation, The society and sample of the field study are represented in 5 national press institutions represented in Al-Ahram, News and Party represented in the delegation and the Special Representative at home and the seventh day, and liaisons within these institutions.The study found a number of findings, the same as the paper and electronic study sample in reliance on the press news in the first order and the decline in the use of the investigation paper newspapers focused on the upside-down pyramid. and the study sample agreed that the positive impact of technology on journalistic writing was technology support for journalistic topics in photos and videos s rights ”, while the negative effect was to provide a wide range of debate on issues that were not important in journalistic institutions.
