Abstract
Clotrimazole, is a synthetic antimycotic agent belongs to the azole class. It inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol or other sterols by damaging fungal membrane and changing its permeability, which eliminate the essential intracellular elements and leading to fungus death.COZ is a broad‐spectrum antimycotic drug (imidazole derivative) mainly used for the treatment of Candida albicans and other fungal infections. Beside its antimycotic activity, COZ becomes a drug of interest against a lot of other diseases like sickle cell disease, malaria and some cancers.
