Abstract

In conclusion, the molecular docking results for all our tested agents such as CNPs and Sil–CNPs showed that antiviral activity against both of ADV-5 and SARS-CoV-2 which confirmed by in-vitro assays.
Additionally, the molecular and protein levels showed that the improvement of bioavailability and physicochemical properties of CNPs by its conjugation with Sil.
And for developing antiviral mask targeting SARS-COV-2 for controlling its transmission in addition to other respiratory -viral pathogens. It has been successful approach to design a mask with nanofibrous surface conjugated with ACE-2 which has the capability of capturing SARS-COV-2 virus through the binding affinity with S protein blocking its entry to the host cells.
.Insilico also physical, chemical, followed by biological investigations of modified PAN NFs showed a promising antiviral activity against ADV-5 via different mechanisms such as adsorption and virucidal, and replication mechanisms. The modified nanofibers showed over than 8 months significant stability.
