Abstract This research investigates numerically performance of steel extended end-plate moment joints subjected to static and blast-like loading. Some of joints represented in this literature are modeled using finite element software ABAQUS to verify results of numerical models against those of experimental tests. These models are then used to apply blast loading to investigate behavior of extended end-plate moment joints under blast loading. Models are then used to compute moment-rotation curves for joint under different blast durations |
