The objective of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of using the numbered heads strategy in implementing the activities of the ”Discover” book on developing some reflective thinking skills and environmental concepts among kindergarten children. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the experimental approach based on the design of two equal groups, one of which was experimental, on which the research was applied using the numbered heads strategy, consisting of (20) boys and girls from the second level at Al-Sahel Kebili Elementary School in Al-Balina Educational Administration, the other is a control group, on which the research was applied using the usual method, consisting of (20) boys and girls from the second level children in Al-Sahel Kebili Elementary School in Al-Balina Educational Administration. The statistical treatment was carried out, and the results of the research revealed that the usage of the numbered heads strategy in implementing the activities of the ”Discover” book led to developing some reflective thinking skills and environmental concepts among the kindergarten child. One of the most important recommendations of the research was to encourage kindergarten teachers to activate the numbered heads strategy in implementing kindergarten curricula, and holding workshops for female teachers on how to use the numbered heads strategy and employ it in developing environmental concepts and some reflective thinking skills, and avoiding traditional methods based on diction and indoctrination in educating children.
