Abstract

Black cutworm Agrotis ipsilon have been recorded as one of the most aggressive pest, resulting grate damage many crops. The traditional methods which used by grower for control this pest caused a side effect on environment and the public health. In this study the ecological studies referred to the simple correlation between climatic factors and population of adults as a main factor were negative. The negative correlation refers to insignificant on population of adult’s black cutworm. In this study Megaselia scalaris has been recorded as a facultative parasitoid to A. ipsilon pupa. Efficacy of Nerium oleander leaves extract against the fourth instar larvae of A. ipsilon with a bran as attractive trap is effective more than the sprayer method at three concentrations (1000, 2000 and 3000 ppm) the highest concentration caused high percent of mortality under laboratory condition. The mixture of three microbial Bio- fertilizers were mixed together and applied on 4th instar larvae by three concentrations this mixture; 10, 20 and 40 gm/100 gm bait trap. Mortality percentage increased by increased concentration reached up to 73%. Bis-[4-benzylidene-thiophene-2’-yl] methane has a good effect on 4th instar larvae of A. ipsilon caused 93.3% mortality after 72h of treatment by 200 ppm.
