Abstract

Doppler Ultrasonography (DUS) has an important role the
assessment of the cerebral & splanchnic blood flow in patients with earlyonset-neonatal sepsis.
The aim of the work was to evaluate the role of transcranial doppler
in assessment of the cerebral & splanchnic blood flow.
The current study included fifty preterm neonates recruited from the
neonatal intensive care unit in Abu-El-Rish hospital, Cairo University
during the period from January 2022 to July 2022. The patient ages were
ranging from 1 to 3 days old.
