Abstract Indoor temperature and indoor relative humidity are crucial for the health, well-being, and comfort of occupants. The purpose of this research is to assess the hygrothermal performance of external wall envelopes as well as materials’ properties of limestone, sandstone, and Karshif within the desert climate. Ultimately, the research aims to infer correlations between indoor and outdoor weather based on actual measured performance. Results proved that it is vital to conduct combined moisture and thermal evaluation for a comprehensive hygrothermal of external wall envelopes in hot-arid climates. |
