The aim of this research is to use modelling strategy in teaching the Arabic language and to recognize its impact on developing some speaking skills and the attitude towards it among sixth grade primary stage pupils.
Research Methodology: The current research used the experimental approach based on the quasi-experimental design with two groups, the control group and the experimental group, in the pre- and post- application of the research variables to determine the effectiveness of using modelling strategy in teaching the Arabic language, as an independent variable, in developing some speaking skills and the attitude towards teaching Arabic, as dependent variables.
• The research materials and tools consisted of a list of speaking skills which is appropriate for sixth grade primary stage pupils, a speaking test, an observation card, a grading scale for the speaking skills test, an attitude scale for sixth grade primary stage pupils, a student’s book, and a teacher’s guide.
The research reached a set of results as follows:
— The use of modeling strategy in Arabic language teaching leads to the development of speaking skills among sixth grade schoolgirls.
— The use of the modeling strategy in teaching the Arabic language leads to the development of the orientation towards the Arabic language among sixth grade schoolgirls.
• In the light of that, a set of recommendations were presented in addition to a number of suggested research.
