Abstract BSV glass system (50-x) B2O3+50Sb2O3+xV2O5 where x=0,0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 Wt% and BPV glass system (50-x) B2O3 +50 Pb3O4 + X V2O5 where x= 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 Wt% were prepared using melt-quench technique. The amorphous nature of BSV and BPV glass system investigated using XRD. The structural changes were studied by means of FTIR by monitoring the infrared (IR) spectra region 200-4000 cm-1 and appeared of different functional group at various wavenumbers. We used also some theoretical technique such as Density Function Theory (DFT) and IR analysis to support our work and give fram of our work connection. |
