Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to use software and hardware in the loop simulations in the design and development of vector field path following algorithms for miniature air vehicles. Hardware in the loop simulation technique was proved to be effective in testing control algorithms, while minimizing the time, effort and cost of testing on actual air vehicles
