المستخلص The analysis of variance (anova) is the most popular statistical method among educational researchers. however, it is well known that the effect of using an f test when the data are non-normal or heterogeneous is a distortion in the rates of type i or type ii errors . the literature showed that the comparison of the means of several samples from populations with unequal variances has been the subject of much discussion . the combined heterogeneity and non-normality problem makes the situation more complicated in its application. it is known that a slight departure from normality has a great effect on power , it is worthwhile to develop efficient alternatives for dealing with this problem |
