This thesis discuss the analysis of topical delivery systems with recent spectrophotometric, chemometric, chromatographic and electrochemical methods. This work presents the analysis of two types of topical delivery systems which are eye drops and topical creams. Three eye drops preparations were discussed. The first one is the ternary mixture of ofloxacin, prednisolone acetate and tetryzoline HCl. The second one is the ternary mixture of chloramphenicol, dexamethasone sodium phosphate and tetryzoline HCl. The third one is the binary mixture of sodium cromoglicate and tetryzoline HCl in presence of their alkaline degradation products and pharmaceutical preparation. The topical cream formulation consisted of hydrocortisone acetate, fusidic acid, methylparaben and propylparaben. The developed methods were validated according to the ICH guidelines. The proposed methods were applied on the pharmaceutical formulation and biological fluids, where accepted results were obtained
