Oxygen therapy is a treatment that provides the patients with extra oxygen. Oxygen is a drug and should be prescribed. Health professionals involved in administering and adjusting oxygen therapy should understand the physiology and possible complications of such treatment. The current study aimed to assess critical care nurses knowledge and practices regarding oxygen therapy Descriptive exploratory design was utilized in the current study. 50 critical care nurses male and female who were working at critical care units and willing to participate in the study. Elminia University Hospital. Socio demographic data sheet{u037E} knowledge assessment questionnaire for critical care nurses regarding oxygen therapy and an observational checklist for critical care practice regarding oxygen therapy. What do the critical care nurses know about oxygen therapy at Elminia University Hospital? and What are the critical care nurses practices in relation to oxygen therapy at El-Minia University Hospital?: 100% of study sample had unsatisfactory knowledge level about precautions of oxygen therapy with a total mean of 43.260 ± 5.896, 90% of them had unsatisfactory knowledge about side effects of oxygen therapy with a total mean of 3.320 ± 1.114 and 98% of the study sample had unsatisfactory practice level about administration of oxygen therapy by nasal cannula& ventury mask with a total mean practice scores 30.440 ± 5.119
