Abstract

This study was carried out during the two successive seasons of 2020 and 2021 at private backyard, Bani Mazar District, Minia governorate. The aim of this study was to evaluate the response of vegetative and root growth and some chemical composition of bermudagrass to salinized water and mineral and/or biofertilization treatments, as well as their interactions (A x B).
from our results, data showed that all examined traits of vegetative and root growth, as well as some chemical composition were decreased by increasing salinity level comparing with low level of salinity (3000 ppm), except some parameters for chemical composition. Generally, fertilizing plants with ”mineral NPK 100%” or biofertilizer ”EM + AC”, followed by ”mineral NPK 75 % + EM” recorded the best treatments than other used treatments.
The best interaction treatments were fertilizing plants with mineral NPK (100%) or biofertilizer (EM + AC), followed by mineral NPK (75%) + EM under 9000 ppm, to reduce the bad effects of salinity.
