Abstract This study was a prospective study that included 21 patients who underwent fracture fixation for an acetabular fracture through modified stoppa approach in the period from September 2019 to November 2021.The study was conducted in two level I trauma centers: Orthopedic Surgery Department, Tanta University Hospital, Egypt and Orthopedic trauma unit,Spedali Civili di Brescia, Italy. Patients underwent full history taking and thorough examination with documentation of the neurovascular status of the affected lower limb. Plain X-rays including antero-posterior, obturator oblique, iliac oblique views and CT scan with 3D reconstruction were obtained for the patients together with routine pre-operative laboratory investigations including complete blood picture, liver and renal function tests and coagulation profile. |
