Abstract
This thesis employ the eigenmode projection technique to get solve electromagnetic propagation problems in periodic structure. The Analysis is carried out by invoking Floquet{u2019}s theorem in conjunction with a modal expansion technique to determine the structure dispersion behavior. This represents using special boundary conditions on the surfaces enclosing a unit cell of the periodic structure
