Abstract
The objective of this study was to assess knowledge, attitude and practices of mothers towards weaning practice of infants in Nesha Family Health Unit at Dakhahlia Governorate.The results of this study showed that knowledge, attitude and practice among the participants towards weaning of infant were good; however they can be further improved by increasing awareness regarding infant feeding practice. So, more efforts should be done by health personnel to provide the mothers, with clear consistent information to increase the knowledge and change their attitude and therefore improve the practice regarding infant feeding practice leading to decrease problems associated with faulty weaning.
