Abstract
Massive weight loss leads to severe body skin envelop deflation and multiple contour deformities around the body, including areas not previously encountered with less than massive weight loss, and not addressed by traditional body lifting techniques. With the increase in the rate of obesity, more bariatric surgeries are performed that lead to a growing number of massive weight loss patients who require different body contouring procedures. The extended brachioplasty technique is developed aiming at recontouring, sculpting and excision of excess skin in the arms in addition to the axillae, upper lateral chest areas and can be extended along the lateral trunk midline either alone or associated with different body lifting procedures to address contour deformities in these areas
