Abstract The importance of this study stems from its introduction of the 2dynamic compound framework3 that reflects the interplay between the variables of Ideology, church-state relation, political opportunity structure, resource mobilization, and the institutional framework of Islam. The dynamic relation between these variables could provide a good explanation of the relation between europe and its Muslim minorities, and the peculiarity of each european state in dealing with its Muslim minorities, which was explained in the comparison conducted between the relation between Germany and its Muslim Turkish minorities, and between France and its Muslim Algerian minorities |
