Abstract
Diabetes is a disease affecting many organs including pancreas and myocardium. This study aimed to investigate the pancreatic and cardiac histopathological changes of induced diabetes in adult male albino rats and the possible protective effect of silymarin.the study was done using fourty rats divided in 4 groups. The results showed different pathological changes in the pancreas and myocardium and the use of silymarin could ameliorate these effects
