Abstract
The study was conducted on 40 patients who were admitted with traumatic brain injury (moderate to severe) due to motor vehicle accident, fall from height and head assault. The patients were divided into two groups A, and B. patients in group B were subjected to the standard care of traumatic brain injury plus therapeutic hypothermia. This study showed a significant effect on the length of the ICU stay and the neurological prognosis, with minimal side effects
