Abstract
The thesis presents an analytical and experimental investigation to estimate punching load capacity and dynamic properties for slab column connections in precast concrete structures. Five specimens with different configuration were studied. The specimens were first examined dynamically by measuring the acceleration responses at selected locations due to impact with medium mass impact hummer. The specimens were then examined destructively to determine the punching capacity for each specimen Parameter which was studied was the configuration of the specimens
