Abstract
Metabolic syndrome is aproblem that increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. Some medicinal plants have been used for a long time as cure because of their therapeutic effects. Thunder god vine is a historical plant which is commonly grown in southeast China. To conduct this study, forty-eight male albino rats were used, which weighed from 70-80 grams at the beginning of the experiment and divided into six groups ethanolic extract was used in two doses also therapeutic drug metformin were used. After six weeks of IP injection blood tests and tissues cutted were examinated.
