Abstract

The major objective of this thesis is the discovery of new multicomponent reactions involving an isocyanide such as passerini reaction to prepare novel peptidomimetics. where in this work we will prepare new isocyanide. Then reaction of this isocyanides with different carbonyl compounds with carboxylic acids to form novel via isocyanide-based multicomponent reaction (IMCR) by Passerini (P-3CR) to prepare α-acyloxy carboxamides using Passerini reaction 4 (Scheme 1). A milestone development by Ugi was the reliable synthesis of isocyanides by a two-step procedure, formylation of a primary amine followed by dehydration.The structures of the novel synthesized peptidomimetics will be confirmed by interpreting spectroscopic analysis such as IR, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), analyzing mass spectrometry and studying potential applications. The protentional biological activity of these compounds will be evaluated against different tumor cells, bacteria to determine their biological activity and the inhibition activities against different enzymes will also be evaluated.
