Abstract

It has been considered that natural polymers like exopolysaccharides (EPS) are important sources of potential chemotherapeutic drugs. Marine habitat studies were conducted in pursuit of innovative bioactive substances (Abdelhamid et al., 2020). Natural polysaccharides are sugar polymers formed in two forms by various microorganisms, comprising fungi, and bacteria, capsular polysaccharide (CPS) that is attached to the cell wall and EPS that is externally secreted into the surroundings (Cao et al., 2019).
