Abstract The studied fatira area is part of aneoproterozoic Pan-African ophiolitic melange belt extending from the mouths of Wadi El Ghozah and Wadi fatira in the west to Gabal Um Anab in the east (El habaak, 2005; Abdel-Karim, 2021). The belt is built up of astack of lenticular ophiolitic and metavolcanic thrust sheets and blocks unconformably overlain by Dokhan volcanics and Hammamat sedimentary rocks. |
