Abstract Two field experiments were carried out at Nubaria, Egypt during 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons, to study the effect of sowing methods and plant density on sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L. var Salama) under Nubaria region. The preceding summer crop was maize (Zea mays L.) in both seasons. Before planting, soil samples were randomly taken from the experimental site at a depth of 0 to 60 cm from soil surface and prepared for chemical analysis. |
