Every patient underwent full history, clinical and dermatological assessment using different dermatological scores(5 Ds and12-Item pruritus severity scale to assess severity of pruritusand children{u2019}s dermatology life quality index to assess how their disease affects their lives). Results: 41%of the patients were males and 59% were females. According to 5Ds score, 35% of the patients are classified to severe form of pruritus; according to 12-item pruritus severity scale, 57% had severe form of pruritus and according to children{u2019}s dermatology life quality index, pruritus affect lives of 46.9% of these patients. It was found that 39.2% of patients who diagnosed cholestasis with normal GGT suffered from severe form of pruritus. Local application of coconut oil in addition to strict therapeutic management using cholestramine had a good response to reduce the severity of pruritus
