Abstract This work has been carried out to: 1- Describe the importance of combination of several analytical techniques (spectroscopic, thermal analyses and mass spectrometry) in analysis of Voriconazole (VRZ), Fluconazole (FLZ) and Butoconazole nitrate (BTZ) drugs and their reaction products with organic reagent Rose bengal (Rbeng). 2- Develop and validate simple, rapid and selective spectrophotometric methods for micro-determination of these drugs in pure and in pharmaceutical preparations. 3- Prepare, separate and elucidate the structures of the solid reaction products (ion-pairs) by elemental analysis, FT-IR,1H-NMR, thermal analyses (TG/DTG and DTA) and MS techniques. 4- Investigate the biological activity (against bacteria and fungi) of these drugs in comparison with their prepared solid ion-pairs with Rbeng |
