In this study, the researcher deals with the subject of monotheism in Ismail Al-Faruqi, as monotheism is the first truth that all the heavenly messages brought to be the first nucleus for the establishment of existence and universalism and a wise legislator. Islam, its cornerstone, and the basis of the epistemological system, as well as a call to respect and even sanctify the mind, as it is the only tool by which the creature realizes the Creator. Cosmic phenomena and the derivation of their laws, that is, to move forward towards the development of natural sciences, as Farouqi concludes. Monotheism means that man was not created in vain, but rather he was created to build the land that the Creator, Glory be to Him, made it responsive to him according to the principle of subjugation, and man in this sense is a creature that possesses unlimited ability to build, and working to unleash this human ability is a prerequisite for the construction of civilization Al-Farooqi goes to the fact that monotheism alone was able to develop a civilization that takes a balanced stance towards man. While the Greek civilization had developed a strong human tendency that reached the point of deifying man, the christian civilization stood in contrast to it, degrading the rank of man through the “original sin” until it considered him downward creature. As for the Islamic civilization, it is the only one that respected human humanity without idolizing or degrading it.Monotheism is the first truth brought by all the heavenly messages to be the first nucleus for the establishment of existence and universalism and a wise legislator, and also monotheism came as an explanation for the wisdom of the Creator in the process of creation, and Al-Faruqi believes that monotheism is the essence of Arab-Islamic civilization, its cornerstone, and the basis of the knowledge system, and also an invitation To respect the mind and even sanctify it, as it is the only tool by which the creature realizes the Creator, and the texts of revelation call on the Muslim to implement reason in himself and in his social environment - that is, to establish the human and social sciences - just as they invite him to look at cosmic phenomena and devise their laws, that is, to move forward towards the development of natural sciences Faruqi concludes.Monotheism means that man was not created in vain, but rather he was created to build the land that the Creator, Glory be to Him, made it responsive to him according to the principle of subjugation, and man in this sense is a creature that possesses unlimited ability to build, and working to unleash this human ability is a prerequisite for the construction of civilization. Al-Farooqi goes to the fact that monotheism alone was able to develop a civilization that takes a balanced stance towards man. While the Greek civilization had developed a strong human tendency that reached the point of deifying man, the christian civilization stood in contrast to it, degrading the rank of man through the “original sin” until it considered him downward creature. As for the Islamic civilization, it is the only one that respected human humanity without idolizing or degrading it.Monotheism, according to Al-Farooqi, is not just an abstract, metaphysical concept; Rather, it is a vital, cognitive and intellectual concept that presents perceptions of the world and the universe, according to a methodology from which this monotheistic interpretation of the world stems. The duality of God-creatures establishes the principle of cognitive realization that motivates man to search for the purpose of existence, so that he becomes independent in its true sense, his ability, and his will, which gives him full responsibility for what he does, and thus is subject to reckoning for his work, and reckoning here gives morals its meaning. A guarantee for the production of a balanced moral civilization capable of reforming itself, and this confirms the centrality of the moral file in Islamic civilization. The most important results of the study:1- Al-Farooqi is a distinguished personality and a deep-sighted Islamic thinker. He devoted himself to Islamic work. He was occupied with the issue of “Islamic knowledge” until it became his life and goal. By virtue of being a professor in American universities, he used his knowledge and experience to serve this cause and this goal, and he had opinions. Distinguished and unique, namely: the need to transform the disaster of Palestine into a driving force for the Palestinian people, so that it becomes associated with the Islamic idea. English language.2- The fact that knowledge is Islamic is a result of the spirit and philosophy of Islam. Rather, it is Islam itself in a stronger expression, in a bolder expression! This is only because the Islamization of knowledge or the Islamization of human sciences is nothing but looking at the sciences and their methods from an Islamic viewpoint; It is a philosophy and a vision with two perspectives, with which the picture is complete, namely: producing science or the scientific method in accordance with Islam, or reformulating science or the scientific method in accordance with the Islamic perspective.3- Al-Farooqi is considered one of the first to work on scrutinizing the philosophical foundations on which Western knowledge was founded and comparing it with Islamic foundations, and he concluded through the comparison that there are undeniable differences that make absolute Islamic submission to Western knowledge impossible, and these differences are: It can be a source of knowledge, and that science is only related to objective facts monitored by the senses, and that it is devoid of any moral or value directives, and that its ultimate goal is to satisfy the material needs of human beings and achieve their happiness without being concerned with their advancement.4-Al-Farooqi asserts that there is no civilization that has been able to maintain its internal purity, as all civilizations borrow from others, and this does not disgrace any civilization, but what disgraces it is that it has collected foreign elements only, or that it did so in a dissonant manner without reshaping, assimilation, assimilation, and a process The quotation is not absolute, but is restricted by the extent to which the elements quoted are consistent with the principle of monotheism. “What is consistent with this principle is accepted and represented, and what is not consistent is rejected and condemned.”5-The monotheism of Al-Farooqi is not just an abstract religious metaphysical concept only; Rather, it is a vital, cognitive and intellectual concept that presents perceptions of the world and the universe, according to a methodology from which this monotheistic interpretation of the world stems. The duality of God-creatures establishes the principle of cognitive realization that motivates man to search for the purpose of existence, so that he becomes independent in its true sense, his ability, and his will, which gives him full responsibility for what he does, and thus is subject to accountability for his work, and reckoning here gives morals its meaning.Key Words:
