Abstract

Graphene-based metal oxide have emerged as a rising star on the horizon of materials science. It has now been considered as a promising material due to its unique properties and great potential for applications in many areas of science and technology, particularly in solving the problems related to the energy crisis and environmental issues. Our study was focused on the green synthesis of cadmium oxide nanoparticles (CdO NPs), and cadmium oxide based graphene (CdO@Gr) and its potential application such as water treatment in addition to antimicrobial applications.
