Nutrition plays an important role in human life in its progress and advancement and well-being in a direct or indirect way. Nutrition as a science should teach all classes of the people of all grades and classes. Nutrition is essential for the student, child, soldier, worker and merchant.(89:12)
Food is one of the most important needs for human survival and continued growth and increase the ability to produce and work and the health of his health until the performance of his duties as fully as they say ”healthy mind in the healthy body,” and we say there is no healthy body without healthy food and adequate to the needs of this body. (14: 24)
Bahauddin Salama (2000) also states that food is the basis of growth and continuity of life, where proper nutrition increases the ability of tissues to compensate for the damage of their cells and increase their vitality and resistance to the occurrence of the disease and this is achieved through metabolism, which includes the process of construction through which growth and renewal and compensation Tissues and the generation of energy needed to complete the body’s vital processes that humans need to fulfill the requirements of their activity. (25:13)
Therefore, athletes in particular should pay attention to a good nutritional balance commensurate with the nature of their physical activity and commensurate with the needs of the body in different conditions of training and competitions, because of the high dynamics required for the regeneration and healing of their tissues and must pay attention to periodic medical examination to ensure the safety The vital organs of the body, the most important of which are the circulatory, respiratory and nervous systems
