Abstract
The aim of this thesis to give an overview of using one of
the most popular feature extraction techniques called principle
-component analysis(PCA) is presented. PCA is a useful statis-
tical technique that has found application in fields such as face
recognition, text Classifi cation. PCA is a common technique
for fi nding patterns in data of high dimension.
