المستخلص
The study aimed to identify the reality of student activities in Al-Azhar secondary institutes in facing the phenomenon of extremism. and to develop a proposed perception of this role. The researcher used the descriptive approach based on one of its tools, which is the questionnaire. The study sample consisted of (210) individuals from the Students of Al-Azhar institutes. The most important results of the study:
1. The goals of student activities are highly achieved in Al-Zahra institutes in the New Valley.
2. the role of cultural activity in confronting extremism is highly realized, given the interest of Al-Azhar institutes in this activity.
