Abstract
Two field experiments were carried out at the Experimental Farm, Etai El-Baroud
Agriculture Research Station, A. R. C., El-Beheira Governorate, Egypt, through during
2013/2014 and 2014/2015 wheat growing seasons to study the effect of nitrogen
Mineral fertilizer on growth, yield and yield components and grain quality of three
bread wheat cultivars (Triticum aestivum) under three sources of nitrogen and four
Nitrogen fertilizer levels. A split split – plot design with three replication was used in
both seasons of the experimentation. Wheat cultivars were distributed at random with in
the main plots, whereas sources of nitrogen were distributed at randomly in the sub-plot
and four the levels of nitrogen fertilization were located randomly in the sub sub-plot.
