Abstract

The present study was carried out in the Marine Fish Laboratory (MFL), Faculty of Agriculture, Saba Bacha, Alexandria University, Egypt in co-operation with National institute of oceanography and fisheries (NIOF), Alexandria, Egypt. It conducted to improve the European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) larval and post larval growth in the rearing period and weaning period using feeding regimes as follows:
The first part: Study the direct effect of two treated Artemia by mixed algae (Ar- MA) or INVE product DHA-Selco® (Ar-DHA) at two-time enrichment durations (2h or 24h) for six weeks on sea bass larval growth; Survival and biochemical composition for both the enriched Artemia and the post larval period from 14-54 DAH.
The second part: Effect of fed sea bass larval at two weaning diets micro diet (MD) and commercial diet (CD) at three weaning periods (40, 50 and 55 DPH) on growth, survival and feed utilization.
