Abstract
There are a number of stored grain insect-pests that infest food grains in stores. Stored grain infestation is a very serious problem as various life stages of insects cause economic damage and deteriorates the quality of food grains and food products. Wheat and broad bean are important crops used for human food and livestock feed; however, wheat is subjected to the infestation by the rice weevil Sitophilus oryzae and bean is subjected to the infestation by the pulse beetle Callosobruchus chinensis
