Abstract In recent years, with the constant development and integration of Internet technology and Internet of Things technology, people’s work and lives have become more comfortable and convenient. These new technologies have become more and more widely used in everyday home life, including social education, agricultural production, industrial production, medical, and other fields. However, the application of new technology in the medical and health industries still has a lot of room for improvement. The roles of healthcare organizations like medical centers and hospitals no longer match the expanding medical needs of the community, especially in the creation of hospital information systems and medical issues. Healthcare in all countries faces a lot of problems because of the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19). This includes weaknesses in capabilities and the lack of medical centers and hospitals. Also, the treatment of pandemic diseases or chronic diseases needs daily reports about the patient’s health status, which enables doctors to recommend the most suitable treatment. As a result, figuring out how to integrate these new technologies and designs into a practical and low-cost intelligent medical information management system has risen to the top of the priority list. In view of the problems faced by hospitals, this thesis proposes an intelligent healthcare system that helps to improve healthcare organizations using the techniques of the IoT. Test results indicate that the proposed system allows doctors and specialists to remotely monitor patients easily and conveniently at hospitals or at their homes and send a warning notification to the specialist through the Android mobile application. To decrease the required bandwidth, the time intervals between two successive readings are adaptive. The intervals increase as stable readings are noticed by the system. |
