Abstract Since Chinese outbound tourism has significant role in global tourist market, it is very important for every tourist destination that, in its development of policies, laws, strategy, and legal framework governing tourism sector. They needs to pays adequate attention to this growing, long-distance tourist market, the opportunities for tourism sector of Tanzania and Egypt in the Chinese market. The aim of this paper is to analyze the trends of the Chinese outbound tourism market as a rising potential for Tanzania and Egypt as a Comparative Study. The characteristics and behavior of Chinese outbound tourists, the specific attributes or strategies that Tanzania and Egypt should promote in order to get larger market share of the Chinese outbound tourism, but also to identify the possible ways to increase the number of Chinese tourists in Egypt and Tanzania in future. Interviews and questionnaires from Chinese tourist, as well as officials from travel and tour companies, institution or organization in both Tanzania and Egypt were carried out as well. The authors have concluded that still we need more and more Chinese as a tourists, therefore heavy marketing and promotion of destination Tanzania and Egypt is needed based on the proposed strategies as well as the specialized tourism promotion at the Chinese market should be carried out. |
