Abstract

The study’s goal is to contrast the success rate and pain ratings of patients in the early adjustment group (adjustment was performed 2 hours after surgery) with the late adjustment group (adjustment was done 24 hours after surgery).
from December 2019 to September 2021, individuals with strabismus participated in a prospective controlled interventional research. Patients with esodeviations or exodeviations who were older than 14 and willing to participate in the research were enrolled. Patients who had a history of strabismus surgery or who had vertical deviations were not included.
Two groups of patients were randomly assigned:
23 patients in group (A) got suture correction two hours following strabismus surgery.
Twenty-two patients in group (B) received strabimus removal surgery, and 24 hours later, their sutures were adjusted.
In terms of adjusting well and experiencing less discomfort, we did not find any significant differences (P value > 0.05) between the two groups.
