Abstract This work has been carried out to determine vilazodone HCl (VILAHC), agomelatine (AGO) and duloxetine HCl (DULHC) as anti-depressant drugs in pure, pharmaceutical preparations and human urine using new electrochemical and HPLC procedures. Fabrication of different electrochemical sensors based on cellulose/nano titanium oxide/nano palladium chloride modified carbon paste electrode (C/T/Pd/MCPE), multiwalled carbon nanotubes/cellulose/tween modified carbon paste electrode (MWCNTs/C/T/MCPE) and sephadex/zinc oxide nanoparticles modified carbon paste electrode (S/ZnO/MCPE), for determination of VILHC, AGO and DULHC in presence of dopamine, respectively were used and exhibited low detection limits, high reproducibility, enhanced sensitivity, selectivity and unique stability. Also high performance liquid chromatographic method for the simultaneous determination of the selected antidepressant drugs and vitamin B12 (cyanocoblamine) was studied |
