Abstract Water pollution is increasing day by day and becoming more grievous problem worldwide. Industrial activities including pharmaceutical products manufacturing have contributed their share in rising concentrations of toxicants in wastewater, thus disturbing environment and affecting the health of people globally. During the past few decades, pharmaceutical industries have registered a quantum jump contributed in the noticeable development of health care sector, but at the same time it have also given rise to severe environmental pollution.To control this type of pollution, pharmaceutical industries use different treatment techniques to treat and reuse wastewater; these processes are time consuming and highly cost |
