Abstract Asthma is a severe public health challenge that affects millions of people globally and places an increasing load on governments, healthcare infrastructure, families, patients and caregivers. Asthma is deemed in terms of its features of reversible airway obstruction, nonspecific bronchial hyper reactivity, and chronic airway inflammation(2,6). Asthmatics should be alert to the positive thoughts towards treatment that is necessary for good disease management. Asthma can be critical when the patient is unable to assess the severity of their condition or symptoms, or does not identify the right treatment(8).Respiratory guidelines recommend physicians with evidence-based guidelines for practice. Clinical guidelines also provide a chance to identify the knowledge and practical and non-practical skills needed by registered nurses on respiratory wards(125).The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of implementing respiratory guidelines on patient with asthma. |
