Abstract
The exact route of this bacterium{u2019}s transmission is unclear; however, evidence supports person-to-person transmission via oral{u2013} oral or fecal{u2013}oral route between family members (Bui et al., 2016). After it has transited to the gastric lumen, H. pylori localizes to specific locations such as the antrum and corpus, where it is well adapted to survive in acidic conditions and establish persistent infection (Ansari and Yamaoka, 2017).
