Abstract The current study aimed to develop the creative writing skill using online journal writing for special diploma students at Faculty of Graduate studies for Education, Cairo University, Egypt. The sample consisted of thirty students of the special diploma of the faculty that were randomly selected.The study was conducted through the quasi- experimental method using online journal writing strategy.The researcher used a list of creative writing skills and a questionnaire to determine what students learned and a scoring rubric for correcting the test.The study indicated that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the pre-posttest in favour of the results of the post test at significance level (0.01) which is < (0.5). The results proved the effectiveness of using online journal writing in developing the creative writing skills for special diploma students at Faculty of Graduate Studies for Education |
