Abstract
In the present investigation , the AISI 304L and AISI 316L austenitic stainless-steel ASS plates were welded together using gas tungsten arc welding GTAW several similar butt joints, typically, 304L-304L and 316L-316L as well as dissimilar butt joints, typically, 304L-316L were formed. The results revealed that at elevated temperatures, increasing the temperature reduces the UTS and YS, but increases ductility of both AISI304L and 316L similar and dissimilar stainless welded joints.
