Abstract
To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study that tested the in-vitro activity of three relatively novel antibiotics against carbapenem-resistant Gram negative superbugs; one is novel
aminoglycosides named plazomicin, the second is a tetracycline termed omadacycline and the last is carbapenem/β-lactamase inhibitor combination called meropenem-vaborbactam. This study was approved by the ethics committee of Tanta University, Faculty of Medicine (Approval No: 33202/06/19).
